PokeBonk is an unofficial Pokémon fan game that brings familiar partners into a 3D survival arena. The original project credits Megabonk as an inspiration. You control your partner's movement while its moves attack automatically, making positioning and your upgrade choices central to the opening minutes. A session starts with a partner, a region, and a game mode. Once the run begins, enemies approach as you move around the map. Your health, experience, moves, and run timer help you follow what is happening. Leveling up brings a choice of cards that can add a move, improve one you already have, or give you a vitamin. This PokeBonk guide focuses on getting that first session right. Use the walkthrough for the actual menu sequence, compare the three initial partners below, then keep the controls and early survival advice nearby while you learn. The game itself runs on [pokebonk.com](https://pokebonk.com/); this independent site maintains the guides. #### Your first session - **Play on:** The original game's website - **Entry:** Free, with a Guest option - **Initial partners:** Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle - **Modes checked:** Classic and Survival (Endless) - **Our test setting:** Desktop · Viridian Forest · Normal [Follow the entry steps](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started#first-run) ### One good first run starts before the timer. Open the Guest tab, press “Play as a guest!”, and confirm your first partner. Then open Play, select your League member, and choose an available region, mode, and difficulty. The walkthrough shows each screen in order. 1. 01Open the original site 2. 02Enter as a guest and choose a partner 3. 03Pick a mode and start a run ### Walkthroughs from our playtests Start with a complete walkthrough, then dig into your partner's kit. Each guide includes sources and a verification date. #### How to start playing PokeBonk Follow Guest entry, partner selection, and run preparation. Learn the desktop controls, read your first upgrade cards, and see what the pause screen tells you about your run. [Read this guide](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started) #### Choose your first starter Compare Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle through their starting moves, passives, and listed move kits. Understand the healing, Fire damage, and defensive roles before committing to your first League member. [Read this guide](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon) Screenshots captured from pokebonk.com on October 17, 2026. Original game project led by Charcher. ### Which PokeBonk starter fits you? [Full starter comparison](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon) A fresh Guest session offers three partners. The game's role labels and passives give each a different starting point. Choose a mechanic you want to learn, then try it in an early run. The comparison follows each partner's displayed kit and our early gameplay observations. #### Bulbasaur Synthesis supports regeneration and healing, including a small recovery when Grass attacks connect. Vine Whip starts the run with an arc toward the nearest enemy that can root it. This kit gives you a reason to watch recovery alongside incoming damage. Keep moving even when your health can recover. [Understand Bulbasaur](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon#bulbasaur) #### Charmander Sea of Flames increases Fire damage and grants an additional damage bonus at low health. Ember is a projectile aimed toward the nearest enemy and can burn it. Pick Charmander to explore a Fire damage kit. Treat the low health effect as a conditional bonus while continuing to protect your health bar. [Understand Charmander](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon#charmander) #### Squirtle Torrent Shell adds armor and shield, with an additional damage bonus at low health. Water Gun fires toward the nearest enemy and can apply wet. Squirtle suits a first experiment with defensive passives. In our Survival playtest, its automatic Water Gun attacks carried the opening and the first level-up offered Bubble. [Understand Squirtle](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon#squirtle) Based on the original partner selection and League profiles, checked October 17, 2026. The full guide includes the later moves listed in each partner's kit. ### Classic and Survival explained Two run structures, selected before you enter the map. #### Classic The preparation screen describes Classic through zones, guardians, and a shrine. Our run began in Zone 1/3 with a countdown timer. This gives your opening a visible zone and time context: check those indicators as you learn the map and your partner's attacks. Choose Classic if you want to explore that zone structure. Keep the same region and difficulty when practicing with another partner, so you can compare how the opening feels with a different starting move and passive. #### Survival The preparation screen describes Survival as endless hordes and milestones. Our run displayed an elapsed timer, a phase, and an upcoming guardian milestone. We used this mode to observe Squirtle's first level-up and add Bubble to its moves. Choose Survival if you want to explore the endless format. Watch the current milestone alongside your health and upgrades as the run continues. Use the elapsed time and phase to follow your progress while learning how upgrades change your moves. Our checks used Normal difficulty in Viridian Forest. The game also lists Hard and Nightmare; those difficulty settings have not been compared here. [See the mode notes.](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started#modes) ### How combat and leveling up work A real early upgrade, captured during our Squirtle test. Your starting move attacks automatically. With Automatic aiming selected, the game targets the closest enemy; the Controls menu also offers Manual aiming toward the camera. This lets you spend the opening learning movement, enemy spacing, and the shape of your starting attack. Watch the EXP display as the run develops. In our test, reaching level 2 opened three upgrade cards: Bubble as a new move, X Defense as a vitamin, and an improvement to Water Gun. Choosing Bubble added it beside Water Gun in the move bar. Future offers can vary, so read the cards you actually receive. Compare the change each card describes with your current kit. Adding an attack, improving an existing move, and taking a vitamin are different choices. After choosing, use the pause panel to review your moves, items, and stats. Our [beginner walkthrough](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started#survival) explains this first upgrade in context. [Screenshot: A real PokeBonk level-up offering Bubble, X Defense, and a Water Gun upgrade](https://pokebonk.org/images/level-up.webp) Three different upgrade types at Squirtle's first level-up. Captured 2026-10-17 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. ### Controls and beginner survival tips [Full desktop controls](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started#controls) - **`WASD`:** Move - **`Mouse`:** Camera - **`Space`:** Jump - **`R`:** Ultimate - **`E`:** Interact - **`Esc`:** Pause / resume From the original game's pause help. Movement, interaction, Ultimate, and pause were used in our desktop runs. Check Settings → Controls for aiming options and Settings → Keys for your current bindings. 1. Make room before choosing a direction Look for open space around your partner and keep an escape route in view. In our early Classic test, standing still ended the run quickly despite Bulbasaur’s healing passive. Use movement to give automatic attacks time to work, and watch whether enemies are closing the route you planned to take. 2. Use pause to understand your kit Press Esc when you need to inspect the run. The panel shows health, experience, moves, items, and stats together. After a level-up, check what changed before making assumptions about the next upgrade. Learning one partner’s first move and passive makes the opening easier to follow. 3. Give your first session a small goal Start by learning the entry flow, moving comfortably, and reading your first upgrade. Once those steps feel familiar, try the other mode or a different starter. Comparing one change at a time gives you a clearer sense of the game than changing your partner, mode, and difficulty together. ### Go deeper into your run [Browse the wiki](https://pokebonk.org/wiki) Read item effects and limits, compare permanent Lab upgrades, and find practical help for questions coming from the community. These Lab and item references were rechecked in v0.6.2 on October 18, 2026. The early gameplay examples retain their October 17 playtest dates. No. The original project's [legal notice](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html) says the game is played on its website and is not distributed as a download. #### Can I play as a guest? Yes. We verified a Guest session and entered the game menu on [the original site](https://pokebonk.com/) on October 17, 2026. #### Is PokeBonk an official Pokémon game? No. The original [project notice](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html) describes an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures, or GAME FREAK. This guide site is also independent of that project. #### Which starter is best for beginners? Start with the passive you want to learn: Bulbasaur for healing, Charmander for Fire damage, or Squirtle for armor and shield. Our [starter comparison](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon) explains those differences. We have not measured win rates to establish a universal best choice. #### Where do I actually play? Open [the original game at pokebonk.com](https://pokebonk.com/). Our play buttons take you there in a new tab. You can leave this guide open beside the game to check the entry steps, control legend, and partner descriptions as you play. ### Follow the original project. This is an independent guide. PokeBonk's project notice names **Charcher** as the project lead and describes the fan game as inspired by Megabonk. Gameplay details here are checked against the current original game. Our October 17 checks covered the live menus, starter profiles, an early Bulbasaur Classic run, and a Squirtle Survival run through its first level-up. The screenshots come from those sessions. Longer runs, evolution conditions, capture challenges, and mobile controls need further playtesting before we publish detailed instructions. On October 18 we rechecked v0.6.2 release notes, Lab descriptions and settings, and reviewed new community questions. Open the original game, pick your first partner, and learn what to do when the run begins. These steps follow the screens and early gameplay we checked. ### Start your first run PokeBonk runs on [pokebonk.com](https://pokebonk.com/). Open it in a browser with JavaScript and WebGL enabled. The original project says no download is required. 1. Enter as a guest At “Welcome, Trainer!”, select the **Guest** tab and press **“Play as a guest!”**. You can begin without creating an account. If your session already shows the game menu, continue from there. 2. Choose your first partner The “Choose your partner!” screen offers **Bulbasaur**, **Charmander**, and **Squirtle**. Select a card, then use the confirmation button below it. The screen says this partner becomes your first League member; the other two can join later through their challenges and capture in a run. 3. Open Play and confirm your partner On the main menu, **Play** opens **The League**. Select an available partner, inspect its passive and move kit, then press **“I choose you!”** or `Enter`. 4. Prepare the run In **Choose region**, pick an available region, a mode, and a difficulty. Our first tests used **Viridian Forest** on **Normal**. Press **Start!** when ready. We used movement, interaction, an Ultimate, and pause during the test runs. Open **Settings → Controls** to check the current aiming mode and camera options. Controls listed by the original game's pause screen | Input | Action | | --- | --- | | `W A S D` | Move your partner | | `Mouse` | Move the camera | | `Space` | Jump; the help also lists holding to glide for flying partners | | `Shift` | Slide | | `R` | Use your Ultimate | | `E` | Interact with the nearby prompt | | `M / T` | Big map / Auto-run in the v0.6.2 Keys panel | | `Esc` | Pause or resume | | `Right click / Q / wheel` | Lock a target / aim / zoom | In Controls settings, **Automatic** aiming targets the closest enemy. **Manual** aiming points toward the camera. These are desktop instructions; touch controls still need a separate playtest. **Check your bindings after an update** In v0.6.2, Settings → Keys lists editable action keys and mouse buttons. The table shows our checked defaults, not a requirement to overwrite your setup. See the [current binding notes](https://pokebonk.org/guides/troubleshooting#camera) for the map and auto-run additions. The gameplay screenshots above and below were captured on October 17. ### Survive, gain experience, and choose an upgrade Your starting move attacks automatically. In our Squirtle run, Water Gun defeated enemies while we moved around the map. Keep space around your partner, watch the health bar, and use the minimap to understand your surroundings. When an interaction prompt appears, its `E` label tells you what is within reach. The pause panel shows your current **HP**, **EXP**, moves, items, and stats. Our Survival run progressed from level 1 to level 2 and opened a choice of three cards: a new move, a vitamin, or a move upgrade. We selected **Bubble**, which then appeared beside Water Gun in the move bar. [Screenshot: Squirtle reaches Level 2 with Bubble, X Defense and Water Gun upgrade choices](https://pokebonk.org/images/level-up.webp) A real Level 2 choice during our Squirtle Survival run. The offered choices can vary. Captured 2026-10-17 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. **Make one clear choice at a time** Read the card's change before choosing it. A new move and an upgrade affect different parts of the kit. The pause screen helps you review what you have learned. Our short runs confirm the early upgrade flow. Exact experience pickups, later evolution conditions, capture challenges, and complete builds need longer tests before we publish instructions for them. ### Classic or Survival? #### Classic The preparation screen describes zones, guardians, and a shrine. Our Classic run began in Zone 1/3 with a countdown timer. #### Survival The preparation screen describes endless hordes and milestones. Our Survival run displayed an elapsed timer, a phase, and an upcoming guardian milestone. Both are available from the run preparation panel. Choose based on the structure you want to explore; we have not yet completed a full run of either mode. ### Choose a starter that fits how you want to play The original selection screen labels **Bulbasaur** as a Healer, **Charmander** as Fiery Assault, and **Squirtle** as a Defender. Those roles come from the game, and their passives explain the distinction. [Read the starter guide](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon) for the three starting attacks, passives, later move kits, and practical selection advice based on those descriptions. Checked on October 18, 2026 . The entry flow and early Bulbasaur Classic and Squirtle Survival playtests were checked on October 17. On October 18 we inspected the v0.6.2 release history, Controls and Keys screens. Screenshots retain their original capture dates; evolution, full clears and touch controls are not claimed as tested. ### Sources - [Original game — live English menus, League profiles, and gameplay](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Original project notice — credits, distribution, and resource attribution](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html) ## PokeBonk Starter Pokémon Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon Last checked/revised: 2026-10-17 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/guides/starter-pokemon) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/guides/starter-pokemon) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/guides/starter-pokemon) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/guides/starter-pokemon) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/guides/starter-pokemon) Compare Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle using their verified starting moves, passives, and in-game roles. Choose a partner for your first run. Three partners, three different passives. Compare the roles and move descriptions shown by the original game before choosing your first League member. ### The three initial partners A new Guest entry offered all three partners. The selection screen says your chosen partner is the first member of your League; the other two join later through a challenge and capture in a run. Their exact challenges have not been verified here. [Screenshot: The original PokeBonk starter selection showing Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, their roles and starting moves](https://pokebonk.org/images/starter-selection.webp) The original partner selection, including the displayed roles and passives. Captured 2026-10-17 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. Starting kits shown by the game, checked October 17, 2026 | Partner | Game role | First move | Passive emphasis | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Bulbasaur](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon#bulbasaur) | Healer | Vine Whip | Healing and regeneration | | [Charmander](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon#charmander) | Fiery Assault | Ember | Fire and conditional damage | | [Squirtle](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon#squirtle) | Defender | Water Gun | Armor and shield | ### Bulbasaur **Passive — Synthesis .** Synthesis adds regeneration, improves healing, and restores a little health when Grass attacks connect. **Starting move — Vine Whip .** A physical arc aimed at the nearest enemy, with a chance to root it. **Later moves listed in the League:** Razor Leaf, Sleep Powder, and Solar Beam . The profile lists these as the partner's kit; a new move must still be selected when it is offered during a run. Choose Bulbasaur if you want a kit built around sustaining health. Its healing passive is useful to understand early, but it does not remove the need to keep moving. ### Charmander **Passive — Sea of Flames .** Sea of Flames increases Fire damage and adds a damage bonus while health is below 40%. **Starting move — Ember .** A special projectile aimed at the nearest enemy, with a chance to burn it. **Later moves listed in the League:** Fire Spin, Flamethrower, and Fire Blast . The profile lists these as the partner's kit; a new move must still be selected when it is offered during a run. Choose Charmander if the Fire kit appeals to you and you want a damage-focused passive. The low-health bonus is a conditional effect; it is not a reason to deliberately take hits. ### Squirtle **Passive — Torrent Shell .** Torrent Shell adds armor and shield, plus a damage bonus while health is below 40%. **Starting move — Water Gun .** A special projectile aimed at the nearest enemy, with a chance to apply wet. **Later moves listed in the League:** Bubble, Rapid Spin, and Hydro Pump . The profile lists these as the partner's kit; a new move must still be selected when it is offered during a run. Choose Squirtle if you prefer the protection described by its passive. In our Survival test, Water Gun handled early automatic attacks and the first level-up offered Bubble as a new move. ### How to make the choice The advice above follows the displayed kit descriptions. We have not measured comparative win rates or tested optimized builds, so there is no best-starter ranking here. For a first session, pick the passive you want to learn: healing with Bulbasaur, Fire damage with Charmander, or protection with Squirtle. Then use a short run to practice movement and read your first upgrade cards. [The beginner guide walks through those steps.](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started) Checked on October 17, 2026 . We checked the original game's English interface. Our playtest covered a Bulbasaur Classic run and a Squirtle Survival run through the first level-up. Menu descriptions and League profiles support the kit details. Updates to the original game may change these screens. ### Sources - [Original game — live English menus, League profiles, and gameplay](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Original project notice — credits, distribution, and resource attribution](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html) ## PokeBonk Wiki Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/wiki Last checked/revised: 2026-10-18 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/wiki) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/wiki) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/wiki) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/wiki) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/wiki) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/wiki) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/wiki) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/wiki) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/wiki) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/wiki) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/wiki) An independent PokeBonk wiki for item effects, vitamins, permanent Lab upgrades, current version changes, and practical help. The original game showed **v0.6.2** when we checked. Click the version button beneath its logo to read the built-in history before copying an older screenshot or item combination. - **v0.6.2:** long-run Training rewards, mouse bindings and auto-run behavior receive changes or fixes. - **v0.6.1:** the notes address Guest progress and missing upgrade choices with one move slot remaining. - **v0.6.0:** map visibility is restricted to explored information, correcting the earlier reveal behavior. - **Earlier balance changes still matter:** item caps and bonus stacking changed in v0.5.3. Old infinite-stack clips are not a current build recommendation. These are dated release notes from the original game's interface. They explain why an earlier long-run record may be difficult to reproduce; they do not establish a current best build. [Read the dated update summaries](https://pokebonk.org/updates) ### Find an answer before your next run Players are asking about extra move slots, missing items, old builds, mobile white screens and multiplayer. We use those questions to choose what to check in the original game. - [How do I unlock the fourth move slot?](https://pokebonk.org/guides/community-faq#fourth-move) - [What should I check after a mobile white screen?](https://pokebonk.org/guides/community-faq#mobile-white-screen) - [Is co-op available, or is a clan enough?](https://pokebonk.org/guides/community-faq#multiplayer) [Read all six player answers](https://pokebonk.org/guides/community-faq), with current-menu checks and links to the detailed guides. Shiny-hunting routes, capture conditions and optimal builds still need longer playtests before we publish instructions for them. ### Where the community fits The original project's Discord has official announcements, patch notes, help, screenshots, and player discussions in several languages. It is a useful place to discover questions worth testing. This wiki is independent of that server and of the game project led by Charcher. [Original project's Discord](https://discord.gg/X7KusQqx8X) [Official announcements](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583) [Bug-report instructions](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297325212635297/threads/1559298115633156098) Discord links may require signing in and joining the server. We write our own explanations, check gameplay details against the original game, and identify release-note claims as such. Community screenshots and suggestions help guide research; an impressive record alone does not prove how a build works. The current reference covers selected item effects and the Lab screens we inspected. Evolution, capture requirements, full Survival routes, and comparative build rankings need further playtests before they become detailed entries. Each published article states what was actually checked. Sources: [live original game and its version history](https://pokebonk.com/); [project notice](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html). Checked October 18, 2026 . Original game and project sources checked October 17–18, 2026. Gameplay examples are limited early runs; current menus were checked in v0.6.2. An item, a vitamin, and a move upgrade change different parts of your run. Learn the distinction, then match the effect to the attacks you actually use. ### Three kinds of improvement **Items** have their own effects and rarity. The original game's hints point to item Poké Balls on the map and Meowth's shop. You can inspect a reference catalog from the main menu under **Lab → Items**, before starting a run. **Vitamins** can appear in level-up choices. In our Squirtle test, X Defense offered **+4% evasion**. Its displayed effect is the useful reference here: do not assume a familiar Pokémon item name has exactly the same function as in another game. **Moves and move upgrades** share that level-up decision. Our first choice included learning Bubble or improving Water Gun, alongside X Defense. We selected Bubble and saw it added to the move bar. An offered new attack and an upgrade to an existing attack are different choices; inspect the card before confirming. Those cards are an example from one Level 2 screen, not a fixed offer list. Use the pause screen to review the moves, items, vitamins, and stats you have accumulated. ### Selected item effects and limits The table below paraphrases entries visible in **Lab → Items**, rechecked in v0.6.2 on October 18. It is a practical selection from the catalog, rather than a ranking. Percentages describe the individual entry; they are not a calculation of your final damage after all bonuses. [Screenshot: PokeBonk Lab item catalog with legendary, epic and rare item descriptions and stack limits](https://pokebonk.org/images/items-catalog.webp) The original game's item reference, including the Master Ball limit and Choice item tradeoffs. Captured 2026-10-17 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. Selected Lab descriptions · v0.6.2 · October 18, 2026 | Item | Rarity | Listed effect | Max. | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Miracle Seed | Common | +30% Grass move damage; +3% total damage | 10 | | Charcoal | Common | +30% Fire move damage; +3% total damage | 10 | | Mystic Water | Common | +30% Water move damage; +3% total damage | 10 | | Muscle Band | Uncommon | +15% physical damage | 10 | | Wise Glasses | Uncommon | +15% special damage | 10 | | Choice Band | Rare | +35% physical damage; −8% attack speed | 5 | | Choice Specs | Rare | +35% special damage; −8% attack speed | 5 | | Life Orb | Rare | +30% total damage; −10% maximum HP | 5 | | PP Max | Epic | One additional projectile for all moves | 10 | | Max Elixir | Epic | +20% attack speed | 10 | | Rare Candy | Legendary | Two immediate levels; +5% damage | 10 | | Master Ball | Legendary | +25% damage; guaranteed capture in Wild Encounters | 1 | The Master Ball's capture wording refers specifically to **Wild Encounters**. This entry does not establish every condition needed to unlock or encounter a League member. We have not completed a capture test, so use the current in-game encounter prompt for the actual action. ### Match the bonus to the attack Type and damage category are separate things to check. The League describes Bulbasaur's starting Vine Whip as physical, while Charmander's Ember and Squirtle's Water Gun are special. Muscle Band and Wise Glasses therefore describe different kinds of improvement. A Fire bonus is another condition again: it refers to Fire-type move damage. - **Bulbasaur:** compare the Grass component of Miracle Seed with the physical component of Muscle Band when reading a Vine Whip setup. - **Charmander:** Charcoal names Fire moves, while Wise Glasses names special damage. Read later attacks before assuming the same bonuses apply to the entire kit. - **Squirtle:** Mystic Water names Water moves. Water Gun is special, but its later kit also lists Rapid Spin, so review individual move descriptions as your run develops. This is a way to interpret the displayed effects. It does not prove which combination wins more runs. Choice Band and Choice Specs, for example, include an attack-speed penalty, while Life Orb lowers maximum HP. A larger damage number can carry a real tradeoff. [Compare the three starter kits](https://pokebonk.org/guides/starter-pokemon) before building around a particular move category. ### Why old infinite-stack builds may not work The October 17 official announcement and the game's v0.5.3 history describe a change to damage stacking: bonuses of the same kind now add together. The announcement explains that the separate bonus groups still multiply. Copying an old screenshot's final damage number is therefore unreliable without checking its version. The same history says Ditto can no longer copy an item beyond its maximum, and Meowth will not sell an item you have already filled. In the catalog we checked, Master Ball has a maximum of **one**. A screenshot showing dozens is not evidence for a current build path. Read the current item description and its maximum first. We have not measured the complete stacking formula, interactions between every bonus group, or performance over repeated long runs. ### The item pool is part of your progression The Lab catalog separates **In your Poké Balls**, **To discover**, and **Archived**. Our guest session showed named entries already in the pool and other entries hidden as “???” with a discovery objective and a Stardust amount. Because those hidden cards do not reveal their names, we do not attach a guessed item to an objective. The Lab's Archive upgrade says archived items are removed from item Poké Balls and the shop. These tools affect what may appear; a catalog entry is not a guarantee that a particular ball will offer it. [Read the Lab upgrade reference](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/lab-upgrades) for extra move and vitamin slots, offer tools, and the Archive's displayed starting cost. Checked on October 18, 2026 . The 12 listed item effects and caps were rechecked in Lab → Items in v0.6.2 on October 18. The vitamin example and catalog screenshot come from October 17. Release notes support the dated balance changes; we have not tested a full damage formula, optimized build or every item combination. ### Sources - [Original game — Lab → Items and the version history](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Official community — October 17 balance announcement](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382/1560935189646155787) - [Original project notice — credits, distribution, and resource attribution](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html) ## PokeBonk Lab Upgrades Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/wiki/lab-upgrades Last checked/revised: 2026-10-18 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/wiki/lab-upgrades) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/wiki/lab-upgrades) Find the fourth move slot, compare permanent Lab upgrades and starting Stardust costs, and understand item discovery and Archive tools in PokeBonk. The Lab separates permanent upgrades from the items you find during a run. Here is what its two tabs show, including first-level prices from a guest session with no upgrades purchased. ### Open the Lab from the main menu Look for **Lab** beside the Pokédex and other menu options. Its subtitle displays your Stardust balance. Inside, **Upgrades** shows permanent stat improvements and run tools; **Items** opens the item pool and discovery catalog. The header says to spend Stardust here. This is distinct from the PokéDollars displayed during a run. We inspected the Lab with a zero-Stardust guest account, so the amounts below are displayed prices, not a purchase test or a measured farming rate. [Screenshot: The original PokeBonk Lab showing permanent Training, Stamina, Agility and run-team upgrade cards](https://pokebonk.org/images/lab-upgrades-0-6-2.webp) The Lab's Upgrades tab before any purchase, showing first-level costs. Captured 2026-10-18 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. ### Where is the fourth move slot? In **Lab → Upgrades**, scroll to the **Run team** group and find **4th move**. The card says it unlocks the fourth move slot. It showed a single level and **1,500 Stardust** in our unupgraded v0.6.2 session. Check your own balance and card before confirming a purchase. **Fourth move and Fourth option do different jobs** 4th move adds attack capacity. Fourth option adds another card to level-up offers and showed a 3,000-Stardust starting price. Buying more choices is not the same as opening another move slot. This answers a question raised in the English community on October 18. The figures come from our own current-game check. We have not purchased either upgrade or measured an optimal Stardust farming route. ### Permanent stat upgrades These cards sit under the Lab's **Training** heading. The effect column describes one upgrade level. The level cap is the denominator on the card, such as 0/8; the price is what that untouched card showed in our session. Training cards · first level only · v0.6.2, October 18, 2026 | Upgrade | Effect per level | Level cap | First cost (Stardust) | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Training | +4% damage | 8 | 100 | | Stamina | +8 maximum HP | 8 | 100 | | Agility | +2.5% movement speed | 6 | 120 | | Study | +5% experience | 6 | 120 | | Trading | +8% PokéDollars | 6 | 100 | | Fortune | +5 luck | 6 | 140 | | Magnetism | +0.6 pickup range | 5 | 80 | | Leftovers | +0.2 regeneration | 5 | 120 | | Shell | +2 armor | 6 | 120 | These bonuses address different needs. Stamina describes maximum health, Shell describes armor, and Leftovers describes regeneration. Study and Magnetism also have different jobs: experience gain and pickup reach. The names alone are not enough to compare them. The permanent **Training** card here is separate from the Training rewards mentioned in recent long-run release notes. The v0.6.2 reward fix does not, by itself, change this card’s listed +4% damage per level. Read the [dated update](https://pokebonk.org/updates#v0-6-2) in its run-progression context. ### Move slots, vitamin slots, and offer tools The **Run team** group includes upgrades that alter choices and capacity. A fourth move slot and a fourth level-up option are separate upgrades. The first gives room for another attack; the second changes how many cards appear when you choose an upgrade. Run team cards · first level only · v0.6.2, October 18, 2026 | Upgrade | Listed function | Level cap | First cost (Stardust) | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 4th move | Opens the fourth move slot | 1 | 1,500 | | Vitamin slots | One extra vitamin slot per level | 2 | 1,200 | | Refresh | One more offer refresh per run, per level | 6 | 120 | | Skip | One more upgrade skip per run, per level; gives PokéDollars | 6 | 80 | | Banish | One more use per level to remove an option for the rest of the run | 6 | 150 | | Fourth option | Four choices on level-up screens | 1 | 3,000 | | Revive | Begins a run with a Max Revive | 1 | 5,000 | | Research | +25% research progress per level | 4 | 250 | | Support team | Raises captured Alpha slots from two to three | 1 | 3,500 | | Archive | Three more Archive slots per level | 3 | 800 | **Refresh**, **Skip**, and **Banish** also solve different problems. Refresh gives another use of the offer-refresh tool. Skip gives another use of skipping an upgrade and awards PokéDollars. Banish removes an option for the remainder of that run. Read the current prompt before spending a use. The Lab's Revive card names a **Max Revive**. In the Items catalog, that item describes a revival with 60% HP. We have not bought this upgrade or triggered its revival in play, so the table reports what the game promises rather than a completed test. ### Item discovery and the Archive Switch to **Items** to inspect named item effects and the separate discovery section. Locked entries in our guest session displayed “???” with objectives such as playing more runs or reaching a level. Their hidden names cannot be safely inferred from the objective. The **Archive** upgrade adds three slots per level. Its description says archived items stop appearing in item Poké Balls and Meowth's shop. That makes it a way to shape the available pool. We have verified the description, but have not tested archiving or restoring an item after purchase. [The item reference](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/items-and-vitamins) explains rarity, selected effects, stack limits, and the difference between items, vitamins, and move upgrades. ### Plan around the problem you are encountering After a run, identify what you want to change before spending. If a setup needs a fourth attack, inspect the move-slot card. If you want more control over level-up choices, compare the offer tools. If you are struggling with survivability, distinguish health, armor, and regeneration rather than treating every defensive upgrade as identical. This is a decision framework based on the displayed functions, not an optimal purchase order. We have not compared clear rates, later upgrade costs, refund behavior, or the time needed to earn each amount of Stardust. Check your own current card price before confirming a purchase. Keep a note of the game's version when following an upgrade plan. During this beta, release notes can change the assumptions behind an older build or progression recommendation. Checked on October 18, 2026 . Both Lab tabs and all 19 upgrade cards were rechecked in an unupgraded Guest session in v0.6.2 on October 18. The table reports first-level prices shown in that session. We did not purchase upgrades, measure farming rates or test cross-device persistence. ### Sources - [Original game — Lab → Upgrades and Lab → Items](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Original project notice — credits, distribution, and resource attribution](https://pokebonk.com/legal.html) ## PokeBonk Troubleshooting Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/guides/troubleshooting Last checked/revised: 2026-10-18 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/guides/troubleshooting) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/guides/troubleshooting) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/guides/troubleshooting) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/guides/troubleshooting) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/guides/troubleshooting) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/guides/troubleshooting) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/guides/troubleshooting) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/guides/troubleshooting) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/guides/troubleshooting) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/guides/troubleshooting) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/guides/troubleshooting) Troubleshoot PokeBonk white screens, lag, controls and missing run results with v0.6.2 settings, dated save fixes and useful bug-report steps. Start with the version and the settings the original game actually provides. These checks respond to recurring community questions about performance, controls, and run results. ### Check the version before trying an old fix The original game's main menu has a version button beneath the logo. Click it to open **What's new**. On October 18, 2026 , our session showed **v0.6.2**, with earlier hotfixes listed underneath. Our [update summaries](https://pokebonk.org/updates) explain the recent changes and the source behind each one. When you return to the main menu between runs, reload the original site to obtain its current version, then check that panel again. The official announcements also ask players with an older open session to reload after an update. An older tab may still be running code from before a fix. The version history distinguishes several problems that players have grouped together: stalled menu choices, movement after closing a menu, item caps, long boss fights, and delayed run submission. Match your symptom to a specific change rather than assuming one fix covers every issue. ### A white screen, missing sprites, or a zone that will not load Start by distinguishing the symptom. A visible game menu with missing Pokémon is different from a whole tab failing to load, or a white screen interrupting an active run. Note which happened, the version, the run minute and whether a portal or upgrade was involved. 1. If the game displays a pause or recovery notice, read it before taking another action. Patch #6 describes this notice and improved result saving around reloads and lost connections. 2. Keep using the original browser session. Avoid clearing site data or switching to an empty browser profile as an initial fix for a Guest-progress problem. 3. Once you can reach the menu, check the version and compare the graphics options below. The new zone loading bar is intended to wait for sprites; a placeholder alone does not identify the cause. 4. If it repeats, save a screenshot and report the device, browser, version, mode and steps. Include whether it began after the update. The official announcement describes recovery of earned results; it does not establish that a crashed run resumes at the exact same moment. English-channel players still reported mobile Chrome white screens on October 18. We have not reproduced that issue on a real phone, so there is no universal device fix established here. ### Lag, flashes, or too much happening on screen Open **Settings → Graphics** on the original game. The panel we inspected offered **High**, **Medium**, and **Low** quality; its own hint says Low performs better. That is the first built-in option to compare if a crowded run is struggling. - **Show FPS:** use the game's counter to observe the effect of a setting change in your own session. - **Effects opacity / My attacks’ opacity:** the current menu separates environmental and enemy effects from your own attacks. Reduce your attack opacity if it hides incoming threats. - **Hide my attacks:** the description turns off drawing your projectiles and their effects while keeping enemy attacks visible. The game describes a performance benefit with many attacks; we have not measured an FPS gain. - **Battery saver:** caps the frame rate at 30 FPS and lowers resolution. It is intended to reduce battery use, so do not treat a 30 FPS cap with it enabled as proof of a new performance bug. - **Subtle candies:** makes the pickups smaller and removes their glow, while the description says pickup behavior is unchanged. - **Screen shake and Shake intensity:** inspect these if repeated hits make the camera difficult to read. - **Reduce flashes:** another available visual-comfort setting. [Screenshot: PokeBonk v0.6.2 Graphics settings showing quality, Battery saver, attack opacity and Hide my attacks](https://pokebonk.org/images/graphics-0-6-2.webp) The built-in graphics options, inspected without changing the session’s settings. Captured 2026-10-18 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. Change one option at a time so you can tell what helped. We have checked these settings in the desktop interface, but have not benchmarked devices or completed a touch-device performance test. The version history records fixes for Pokémon remaining as Poké Ball placeholders. A persistent blank map or missing sprites on the current version is still worth reporting with a screenshot; this guide does not establish a universal recovery procedure for it. ### Camera movement and attack aiming In **Settings → Controls**, **Automatic** aiming targets the closest enemy, while **Manual** points toward the camera. Check the selected mode if the attack direction differs from what you expected. Mouse sensitivity and Invert Y axis are separate options on that panel. For the keyboard legend, pause a run and compare it with our [desktop controls reference](https://pokebonk.org/guides/getting-started#controls). The original game's v0.5.2 notes describe fixes to movement after upgrade menus and item interactions; its October 17 community update also covers the camera after pausing. **Settings → Keys** now lists the action bindings. Its instructions say to choose a box and press a key or mouse button;`Esc` cancels, and a conflicting action swaps bindings. Middle, right and side mouse buttons are supported in the v0.6.2 notes. These instructions were read in the live interface; we did not change bindings or test a physical controller. The checked Keys panel lists `M` for Big map and `T` for Auto-run in this session. Your custom binding may differ. The latest notes limit auto-run to the current run, show an indicator and turn it off when moving backward. Controls also offers Auto Ultimate; inspect its description before expecting manual-only activation. ### A run did not save or the leaderboard looks wrong Help and bug-report threads included reports of long runs ending around maintenance, missing rewards, and results not appearing where expected. Those reports establish player questions, not a confirmed explanation for every missing result. **Patch #6 / v0.5.7** describes storing earned results when the browser closes, refreshes or loses connection and sending them when you return. **v0.6.1** separately records a fix for Guest progress after Exit and signing in again. Neither statement establishes that every older lost run was restored. Return using the same browser session and record what is still missing. The earlier **v0.5.5** change concerns runs arriving late after maintenance and entering review. A delayed submission, an account-progress issue and an unexpected leaderboard position are different symptoms. Keep the version and result time with your report. If the issue persists, include the mode, region, starting Pokémon, result screen, and whether maintenance was happening. We cannot inspect the game's private save records from this independent guide. The original project's **Report** button and its support channels are the appropriate places for an individual run investigation. ### Can I play with friends? Is skill fusion available? The [official October 17 announcement](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382/1560935275616804904) describes co-op and skill fusion as features being tested for Season 2. That is a roadmap statement. Our checked menu offered Classic and Survival; we have not verified a released co-op entry or a usable fusion system. Look for a newer announcement and a corresponding option in the live game before following instructions for those features. Joining a clan does not, by itself, verify that co-op play is available. ### Send the original project a useful bug report The game menu includes **Report**. Its Discord also has a pinned [bug-report guide](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297325212635297/threads/1559298115633156098) asking for one issue per post, a descriptive title, and enough detail to reproduce it. 1. Describe what happened and what you expected. 2. List the steps that led to the issue. 3. Include the Pokémon, biome, mode, and approximate run minute. 4. Name the browser, operating system, and whether you used a PC or phone. Add the game version. 5. Attach a relevant screenshot or short clip when possible. Search the existing reports first and add useful details to a matching issue. The pinned instructions ask players to report leaderboard exploits privately to moderation. For general help, visit the [original project's Discord](https://discord.gg/X7KusQqx8X); Discord may require you to sign in and join the server. Checked on October 18, 2026 . On October 18 we rechecked the v0.6.2 version history and Graphics, Controls and Keys screens, and read the latest official Patch #6 posts. English and Chinese Discord discussions informed the symptoms covered. We did not reproduce every bug, crash-test saves or benchmark a real touch device. Reporting instructions were inspected on October 17. ### Sources - [Original game — version button and Settings](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Official community — announcements](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583) - [Official community — Patch #6 and run-result saving](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583/1561105907000021065) - [Official community — pinned bug-report instructions](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297325212635297/threads/1559298115633156098) ## PokeBonk Updates & Patch Notes Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/updates Last checked/revised: 2026-10-18 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/updates) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/updates) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/updates) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/updates) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/updates) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/updates) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/updates) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/updates) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/updates) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/updates) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/updates) Catch up on PokeBonk v0.6.2, Patch #6, save fixes, map changes and the Season 2 roadmap, with original sources and practical player context. The recent updates focus on run results, upgrade choices, clearer information and control settings. This page selects the changes most useful to players; the game’s **What’s new** panel holds the original version history. **Read the version as well as the patch title** Patch #6 groups several changes together. Later hotfixes can correct them. In particular, v0.6.0 changed the map reveal described in the earlier announcement. Captured 2026-10-18 from https://pokebonk.com/. Original project lead: Charcher. ### v0.6.2 #### Long-run Training, mouse bindings and auto-run - The release notes set a minimum for Training rewards in long runs, addressing rewards that could fall to zero. - Actions can be assigned to middle, right and side mouse buttons through Settings → Keys. - Auto-run is limited to the current run, has an on-screen indicator and stops when you move backward. - Fixes cover attack effects lingering into another run and text disappearing from the Save to account form. **For your next session:** Check your own bindings before following a keyboard guide. The Training change concerns repeated level-ups during a run; it is separate from the permanent Training purchase in the Lab. ### v0.6.1 #### Guest progress and missing upgrade choices - A fix addresses Guest progress being lost after Exit and signing in again. - Level-ups should offer their full set of cards when only one move slot remains. - The large-map binding becomes editable, and move-learning information includes Pokémon names and portraits. - Other fixes address a capture target disappearing during a nearby evolution, a mislabeled Friend Ball, overlapping items and unintended card navigation. **For your next session:** A save fix is not confirmation that a particular older result has been restored. If your progress is still missing, record the version and ask the original project to investigate. ### v0.6.0 #### Map visibility correction and mobile home-screen fix - The large map and minimap are restricted to explored information. The notes remove the earlier reveal of the guardian altar, portal and remaining zone contents. - A mobile fix addresses home-screen flickering with battery saver enabled. **For your next session:** Do not rely on an early Patch #6 screenshot promising that the map reveals everything after a guardian. This later correction takes precedence. ### Patch #6 · v0.5.6–v0.5.8 #### Run-result recovery, clearer information and more settings - The update describes saving earned results after a closed or refreshed tab or a lost connection, with another submission attempt when you return. - Loading screens wait for the zone and Pokémon assets, and repeat downloads after updates are reduced. - A large map, move-learning lists and views of recorded run builds add information to the game. The later v0.6.0 map correction still applies. - Controller navigation, configurable keys, auto-run, automatic Ultimate use and attack-visibility options receive additions or fixes. - Mobile changes include clearer shop prices, joystick and camera improvements and a battery-saving option. Traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian are added to the game. - A separate progress-counter fix counts species beyond the last 30 runs. Other fixes cover shop freezes, repeated achievement claims and disappearing effects or portals. **For your next session:** These are the project’s stated changes. We checked the current menus and release history; we have not crash-tested result recovery or benchmarked a phone or physical controller. ### Why an older “infinite” build may no longer work The October 17 balance update and v0.5.3 history changed how bonuses combine and enforced item limits. Same-kind bonuses add within their groups, rather than repeatedly multiplying without a limit. Ditto should not copy an already-maxed item, and Meowth should not sell one. That makes the version important when watching a long-run clip. A huge result from an earlier build does not establish a repeatable current strategy. Compare the mode, starting Pokémon, Lab upgrades and item limits before using it as a plan. Our [item and vitamin reference](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/items-and-vitamins#limits) explains the checked limits; it does not claim a tested best build. ### Season 2: co-op and skill fusion remain roadmap items The original project’s [October 17 roadmap](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382/1560935275616804904) describes cooperative play, a better endgame and more build options, including skill fusion, as work being tested for Season 2. The [Patch #6 follow-up](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583/1561105909990559787) still prioritizes fixes and quality-of-life work until that season. These announcements are plans, not a verified release of those features. Our v0.6.2 menu check showed Play / Classic, Survival and a separate Clan entry. We have not verified a co-op lobby or a usable fusion flow. A clan entry does not by itself mean friends can enter the same run. The announcements target the following week, without establishing a guaranteed launch time here. Check a newer official announcement and the live menu before arranging a co-op session. ### Check which update you are actually playing 1. Return to the main menu of the original game between runs. 2. Read the version button beneath the PokeBonk logo. 3. Open it to read What’s new, starting with the newest entry. 4. If the project has released a newer version, reload the original site and check the number again. An older open tab may still be running the previous code. For a white screen or missing result during a run, start with our [troubleshooting checklist](https://pokebonk.org/guides/troubleshooting). The recent saving announcements describe the intended recovery of earned results; they are not proof that every older lost result was restored, or that you can resume a run at its exact interrupted point. Patch #6’s Discord post is titled October 17 and was posted at 19:57 UTC that day. Readers in UTC+8 see October 18. Dates in the version list above follow the game’s own displayed release dates. This is an independent guide; the [original project](https://pokebonk.com/) provides the game and its updates. Checked on October 18, 2026 . We read the English in-game release history and inspected the Lab and settings in v0.6.2 on October 18. Patch #6 and Season 2 context come from the original project’s Discord announcements. These are attributed release summaries; they do not certify every fix on every device or a completed playtest of the new systems. ### Sources - [Original game — version button → What’s new](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Official community — Patch #6 announcement](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583/1561105907000021065) - [Official community — Patch #6 follow-up and Season 2](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583/1561105909990559787) - [Official community — co-op and skill-fusion roadmap](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382/1560935275616804904) ## PokeBonk Player FAQ Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/guides/community-faq Last checked/revised: 2026-10-18 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/guides/community-faq) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/guides/community-faq) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/guides/community-faq) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/guides/community-faq) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/guides/community-faq) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/guides/community-faq) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/guides/community-faq) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/guides/community-faq) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/guides/community-faq) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/guides/community-faq) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/guides/community-faq) Answers to PokeBonk community questions about the fourth move slot, missing items, old builds, mobile white screens, saved results and multiplayer. Quick answers to questions players are asking in the original project’s community. Each answer starts with the current menu or an attributed official update, then points to a fuller reference. ### How do I unlock the fourth move slot? Open **Lab → Upgrades** from the main menu and find**4th move** in the **Run team** group. Its description unlocks the fourth move slot. In our unupgraded v0.6.2 Guest session, the card showed a one-level cap and a price of**1,500 Stardust**. 1. Open Lab; its menu subtitle shows your Stardust balance. 2. Choose Upgrades, then scroll to the Run team cards. 3. Read the 4th move card and your current price before purchasing. **Fourth option** is a different card. It adds a fourth choice to level-up offers; it does not open a fourth attack slot. It showed 3,000 Stardust in the same untouched session. This is also separate from the release-note fix for missing cards when one move slot remains. We checked the descriptions and prices, not a completed purchase. See the [Lab walkthrough](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/lab-upgrades#fourth-move). ### Why is an item missing from my Poké Ball pool? Open **Lab → Items** and compare **All**,**In your Poké Balls**, **To discover**and **Archived**. They describe different states. Being listed in the catalog is not the same as being available in your current pool, and being in the pool does not guarantee the next offer. In our new Guest session, undiscovered cards displayed “???” with an objective and a Stardust amount. Do not identify a hidden item from its objective alone. The Archive description separately says archived items stop appearing in item Poké Balls and the shop. We have not purchased Archive or tested its restore flow. Start with the state shown on your own card, rather than a screenshot from an account with more unlocks. The [item-pool reference](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/items-and-vitamins#pool) explains discovery, availability and the limits of our checks. ### Why does an old infinite-damage build no longer work? The October 17 balance announcement and v0.5.3 notes changed bonus stacking and enforced item caps. Same-kind bonuses add within groups. The game also states that Ditto no longer copies full items and Meowth no longer sells them. A clip from before those changes is not evidence of a current reproducible strategy. Check the clip’s version, mode, partner, permanent Lab upgrades and item counts. Our selected catalog entries include a Master Ball cap of one, rechecked in v0.6.2. More visible effects or a larger old score do not establish a stronger current setup. See [item limits and balance](https://pokebonk.org/wiki/items-and-vitamins#limits) before investing a long run in an older combination. ### What should I check after a mobile white screen? First record the game version, browser, device and approximate run minute. Patch #6 describes a white-screen pause notice and result saving around reloads or disconnections. Players were still asking about mobile Chrome white screens after the update, so the patch note should not be read as a universal fix. When the menu is usable, open **Settings → Graphics**. The current screen offers Low quality, Battery saver, My attacks’ opacity and Hide my attacks. Change one option at a time and use Show FPS to compare the result. Battery saver explicitly caps the frame rate at 30 and lowers resolution; it is not a setting for maximizing frame rate. Avoid clearing the original site’s data as a first step: your Guest session is tied to that browser/device. We inspected these options on desktop, not through a real-phone benchmark. Follow the [white-screen checklist](https://pokebonk.org/guides/troubleshooting#white-screen) for what to record and how to report a recurring problem. ### Did the latest update restore my missing run? That cannot be determined from the announcement alone. Patch #6 describes saving earned results after a closed tab, refresh or lost connection and retrying submission when you return. The v0.6.1 history also records a Guest-progress fix around Exit and signing in again. These are different problems, and neither note proves that every previously missing run was recovered. Return to the original game using the same browser session and compare your recorded results and progress. If something remains missing, keep the result screenshot, version, time, mode, region and starting Pokémon. Use the game’s Report button or the original support channels. This guide cannot inspect or repair game accounts. Our [save-result checklist](https://pokebonk.org/guides/troubleshooting#saves) separates recent fixes from evidence needed for an individual report. ### Can I play co-op now? Does joining a clan enable it? The [October 17 official roadmap](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382/1560935275616804904) describes co-op and skill fusion as features being tested for Season 2. Our October 18 v0.6.2 menu inspection showed Classic, Survival and a separate Clan entry; we have not verified a released co-op lobby. Joining a clan does not establish shared-run multiplayer. Check that a video or announcement refers to **pokebonk.com**and Charcher’s project. Same-name games and other Pokémon survivor games can have different multiplayer systems. Our [Season 2 update notes](https://pokebonk.org/updates#season-2) keep the announced plans separate from features we can currently verify. Checked on October 18, 2026 . Questions were selected from the latest English, Chinese and general Discord discussions on October 18. Answers use the original game’s v0.6.2 Lab, settings and release history, plus official announcements. Player advice is not treated as a tested build, and no private chat or community screenshot is republished. ### Sources - [Original game — Lab, settings and What’s new](https://pokebonk.com/) - [Official community — Patch #6](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1559297305708994583/1561105907000021065) - [Official community — Season 2 roadmap](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382/1560935275616804904) - [Community questions — English channel](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560003573201502382) - [Community questions — Chinese channel](https://discord.com/channels/1559292800351342602/1560194111171076136) ## PokeBonk Video Guides Canonical: https://pokebonk.org/videos Last checked/revised: 2026-10-18 Language editions: [English](https://pokebonk.org/videos) | [Español](https://pokebonk.org/es/videos) | [Français](https://pokebonk.org/fr/videos) | [Deutsch](https://pokebonk.org/de/videos) | [Italiano](https://pokebonk.org/it/videos) | [Português](https://pokebonk.org/pt/videos) | [Polski](https://pokebonk.org/pl/videos) | [Nederlands](https://pokebonk.org/nl/videos) | [日本語](https://pokebonk.org/ja/videos) | [한국어](https://pokebonk.org/ko/videos) | [العربية](https://pokebonk.org/ar/videos) Watch PokeBonk beginner tutorials, Mandarin and Spanish gameplay, and a Bulbasaur build example. YouTube caption and translated-audio availability varies by video; localizing this page does not translate the original recording. 2. The YouTube player loads only after you press the play button. You can also open the original video directly, use its chapter list and read the creator’s description. 3. We check the live game interface before naming buttons, controls, numbers, or progression requirements. Unchecked details stay in our private verification list until they can be tested. The wiki also uses the original game's Lab catalog, settings, and dated version history. Official community updates are identified as release notes; player discussions help us choose what to investigate. We write our own summaries and use our own game screenshots. Player images and chat logs are not mirrored here. Each article distinguishes menu descriptions from actions we have completed in play. Original game and project sources checked October 17–18, 2026. Gameplay examples are limited early runs; current menus were checked in v0.6.2.
